Pictured is Gregg Schmitz, with Crop Production Services speaking to the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary Club this past Wednesday, October 14.  Gregg's program focused on yield potential, productivity and protecting the environment.   Gregg shared with Rotary that by the year 2030 corn is expected to yield an average of 300 bushels per acre and soybeans will yield 100 bushels per acre.  Currently in NW Iowa, yields are approximately 170 for corn and 52 for soybeans per acre.
