Lakes native Stephanie Fisk came back to share some of her world experiences with Rotary on Wednesday, August 26. Stephanie has travelled the world twice with Adventures in Missions, a mission group based in Georgia.

Stephanie's first trip around the world was through the World Race program, designed for young adults 21-31 years old. She visited 11 countries in 2007 with the group.

Her latest adventure followed a similar group as a squadron leader in 2008. She travelled to Central America and Mexico, Southeast Asia, England, the southern part of Africa and Eastern Europe. Stephanie shared stories primarily of her time in Eastern Europe - primarily the Ukraine and Moldova.

At the conclusion of her presentation, President Jason Carlstrom presented Stephanie with a contribution from the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary to continue on her mission to help people around the world. Pictured here is Rotarian Aileen Schacherer, Stephanie Fisk and President Jason Carlstrom.
