Jon Christensen from the Department of Natural Resources spoke Wednesday, March 10, to the Rotary Club about Shallow Lake Management. He spoke of the natural and man made causes that change lake levels. There are fewer and fewer shallow lakes every year. A shallow lake is one that is less than ten feet deep. A High Nutrient Lake will be populated with Rough Fish while a Clear Water Lake will have more fish for Anglers such as Perch, Pike, and Walleye.
