Erin Reed was inducted into The Iowa Great Lakes Rotary club on September 26, 2018. 
Erin grew up in Trimont , MN, which is in the Farimont, MN area.  She went to college at Minnesota State (Mankato) for a time.  Erin transferred to Dunwoody Institute in the Twin Cities where she got her degree in Civil Engineering Technology and Land Surveying.  Erin was with the Jackson County Highway Department for 14 years, as an Engineer. 
In 2001 Erin and her family moved to the Lakes when her husband took a District Manager Sales position with Pure Fishing.  Erin became a board member of the Trails Association in 2006 and became the Director in 2016, which is her current position.  We enjoyed hearing about future plans for the Trails at a recent Rotary program, presented by Erin.
Erin and her husband have 2 sons:  Lance, 13, and Evan, 8 and they attend the Spirt Lake Schools.
Hobbies and outside interests include:  music concerts (will travel to attend), bicycling, fishing, and MN Sports (Vikings & Twins).
