The Iowa Great Lakes Rotary is excited to announce the installation of a new electronic sign at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds. The previous sign, built in 1992 through a joint effort by Rotary and the Fairgrounds, blew down earlier this year. The new digital sign was installed last week and is programmed from an office computer in the Expo Building. It allows staff to promote and highlight numerous events at once as well as input longer messages than before.

After a commitment from the Dickinson County Ag Society to start the sign replacement project, Iowa Great Lakes Rotary contributed $4,000 to and provided leadership in fundraising to complete the sign. A special thank you to Bank Midwest, Central Bank, Farmers Savings Bank, Libery Bank, Northwest Bank,The State Bank and United Community Bank for their contributions to the project.  Pictured here with the new sign are Rotarians Chuck Skogerboe, Kathy Fahy and Rotary President Peter vanderLinden.
